The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the publics help in identifying the person or persons selling angler-caught fish in the Aylmer area.
Conservation officers are investigating after receiving numerous complaints from the public that angler-caught fish are being sold in the Aylmer area. The reports were made through the MNRF TIPS line.
Its illegal to sell fish caught by sport fishing in Ontario. This protects Ontarios fish populations as well as the health of Ontarians since angler-caught fish are not subject to food safety and quality inspections.
